Welcome to Georgetown University program in Madrid's webpage.

Georgetown holds university agreements with some of the most prestigious universities in Madrid, Spain: the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and  the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Only Georgetown University students are eligible to participate on this program.

 The program is a member of the Association of North American programs in Spain.

We invite you to browse through the webpage to learn about the different aspects of the program: universities, trips, housing, inmersion posibilities, etc.

    An initiative to promote interaction between the GU Alumni Club members in Madrid and program participants.Institutional visits and social events will be programmed to help students network and understand international work experiences (Info under ALUMNI).

  • Academic writing workshop and the DELE exam.

    The program offers students a personalized tutorial to improve their written and oral performance in class. In addition, those students wanting to take the DELE exam (Spanish Language Diploma) will receive program support with specialized tutorials.


  • Striving for Intercultural Competence

    Students wanting to maximize their intercultural skills are urged to participate in the semester long tutorial
    where learning outcomes can be seen through the IDI test results.

    All students participate in a number of workshops throughout the semester. Spanish mentors and host families are invited to these as well.
